Why would you have a £167,000 motor and not have it insured?

Was watching a programme on Lord Lucan last night. He considered himself better than others because of his Aristocratic roots. This guy probably had similar traits. Thought he was better than others. Mind you if he can afford a Bentley, paying a fine is probably not an issue.

You'd think. My Accountant back in the 90's had a similar problem. He was somewhat something of a narcissist. He thought he could pay everyone off. Regardless of the situation or who it was. It worked mostly, clearly not always. He got jailed in 1998 for corruption.

Most likely he forgot. Then assumed that if he told the police that he had forgotten and would do it right now on his mobile, they would let him off. (They probably would have done if he had been a middle-aged mason.)
Re: This made me chuckle
He was right though. It wasn't towed.
Re: This made me chuckle
Not at all defensible but my guess is the insurance would have been in the tens of thousands.

Didn’t even have a Delboy type note in the windscreen
