Kevin Friend again.....I've never worked out if he needs glasses or a blindfold...either would be an improvement...how does he get the work???

I think the PGMOL are trying their best to keep the referees as local as possible, I've seen Anthony Taylor regularly officiating the Manchester and Liverpool clubs.
Suppose it make sense not having the likes of North East based Oliver travelling down to London every 2 or 3 days .
The referees will need some down time and family time too, it's a busy schedule for them more than the clubs.
They dont have squads of 25+ and can be subbed or rotated.

Re: Referees confirmed for Liverpool and Wolves games
blows that theory out of the water as I'm sure he was down ther the other week too.
I'll try and find a list of who's refereed where.
Re: Referees confirmed for Liverpool and Wolves games
Mike Dean's 3 matches so far after the restart have been
Goodison Park
Old Trafford
Turf Moor
And his 4th official roles have been at Anfield and Man City
Suppose he's one of the better referees, theres a hot bed of football round here so easy to keep him local ish, and he supports Tranmere so no affiliation with the top clubs in the area.
Thought I'd seen him around the northern games a lot on TV.

Warnock will be blowing a fuse " they have got Mike Dean again". Colin was watching Boro train last week and noticed a player that looked a bit out of place. When he found out who it was and who was paying his wage he said to him I don't care who your uncle is just please leave or words similar !!.
