tonight's games 7/7/20
Big night of footy again, they're coming thick and fast now.
Ideally we want Chelsea and Leicester to win, but with the erratic form of both i wouldn't count on it.
Watford should collect 3 points to pile the pressure on Bournemouth & Villa, and send Norwich closer to the drop.
The Champ is where the real action lies.
Brentford, Forest & Fulham have the chance to increase the pressure on the top 2, but judging by the madness of that league they'll both fluff their lines.
Luton & Barnsley face each other, a win for either and they could give themselves a lifeline, as could Huddersfield when they visit Reading.
And lastly Rovers travel to Wales trying to keep their faint play-off hopes alive.

It'll be looking grim for Villa if Watford win tonight.
Norwich are gone and Bournemouth ain't gonna get out of it.
And come on you Cardiff!

Re: tonight's games 7/7/20
No Cantwell for Norwich again, supposedly injured, could be true, or he could be being wrapped in cotton wool ahead of a big summer move.
Fulham ahead at Forest, and an early goal for Norwich, that wasn't in the script.

I always thought Nigel Pearson was a half decent manager.
One of those who could be relied upon, if not spectacular.

1-1 Dawson for Watford. 2 bookings for Norwich in the first 10 minutes, that's a long time to walk a tightrope.
Re: tonight's games 7/7/20
Isn’t that Jamal Lewis highly rated? He’s gifted Watford that goal - gave away free kick when totally unnecessary and was meant to be marking Dawson who scored.

Had really hoped we'd get Dawson from WBA. He seemed tailor made for us, but a set piece goal record like his doesn't go unnoticed.

He's causing havoc at every set-piece, and that not unusual for him.CombatClaret wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 6:27 pmHad really hoped we'd get Dawson from WBA. He seemed tailor made for us, but a set piece goal record like his doesn't go unnoticed.

Re: tonight's games 7/7/20
He is highly-rated, but like several Norwich players he's been proven to be naive in this league, I've no doubt in a better team, with a manager who can organise a defence he'd look much more at home.
This is a poor game, you can see why their both down among the deadmen.

Re: tonight's games 7/7/20
Brentford are doing their best to keep it interesting, Fulham won as well, but they're just too far back too be a threat, unless the top 2 completely implode, which i can't see.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 7:49 pmCan’t believe Brentford have turned that around. Rovers 1-1, Danny Graham, an ex Swan netting at Cardiff, he'll enjoy that, the peeps on this board not so much.
