I think that quote is superb. Really. A bit long for a the title of a novel but would still be a fantastic title.

Reminds me of the Polish goalkeeper in 1973 that Brian Clogh referred to as ' a clown'; he too kept the ball out of the net and Poland reached the semi finals of the World Cup the following year.

Jan Tomaszewski - was outstanding that night at Wembley. Saw the end of Sir Alf Ramsey too and lumbered us with Revie.
