Bardsley 8 few loose balls but played v well

Taylor 8 defended well and nice work on the left
Brownhill 8 great game really involved 2nd half
Westwood 8- grafted hard proper engine room shift
Pieters 7 way of our position but held his own top pro
McNeil 8 but wayward but nice work too
Wood 7 slim pickings but again good to have him back
Rodriguez 9 always hungry and another lovely goal

As Peter Crouch said after full time, one of Dyche's mantras is to 'stay in the game'. And today was a fine example of doing just that. Another stunning team performance to add to the many of them so far this season.

Those two saves in the 1st half were something else. Not bad for a player who cost us a million pounds there abouts.

So proud of them. I just hope the board back Dyche in the transfer window with some money, it'll be a shame if he goes.

Assuming he was "fishing", then he's wound quite a few in.

Tarka 9 - A rock and a hard place

Taylor 9 - Classy and confident
Pieters 8 - Steady, especially for a left back playing right midfield
Westwood 9 - Human dynamo
Brownhill 9 - Really like this lad, finding his feet and growing in confidence
McNeil 9 - Seems to have more strength and stamina nowadays, I like him coming inside and collecting the ball deeper to get in the game
JayRod 9 - Excellent display and good to see him always willing to have a pop at goal
Wood 7 - Obviously still a bit ring rusty but always a handful

JBG 7 - As with Dwight vs Sheff Utd, gotta be able to hit the target with a free shot from 12 yards. Nice to see him back though.
Vyds 8 - They had trouble picking up his runs and very close to getting on the end of a couple of balls.

Fantastic team performance, to go to Anfield with a patched-up team and be the first team to get anything there in 25 games speaks volumes for our spirit and quality. Great stuff.
Oh, and to sum up how football revolves around the world, I had connection problems here today after last night's storm, so from just before they scored to half-time, I am sat here in Philadelphia following the game back in England via WhatsApp updates from my best mate who is a Scouser living in Sweden
