Our post-New Year Record

Post by huw.Y.WattfromWare » Sun Jul 12, 2020 12:14 am

Our late season strength seeing us home again.
15-16....15-7-0
16-17....4-5-10. A survival year.
17-18....5-5-7. We had dreadful start to the New Year but finished off 5-2-3
18-19....7-4-7
19-20....7-5-3, with 3 to play

17-18 doesn’t support the stronger in the second half of the season theory. We’d raced to 34 points very quickly, temporarily putting us fourth. But as the stats above show we only managed 20 points in the second half of the season which is only just better than relegation form. Our 7th place finish was very much down to the first half of the season.
