Bloody hell! I blinked and missed it! Didn't realise it was a fellow Claret. Was wondering why the bloke next to him was wearing a suit.

They edit the chat... you talk to Brad for about 3 or 4 minutes and they pick the bits they want .... I mentioned that Steve from Fife was a Knob but they edited that bit outconyoviejo wrote: βMon Jul 13, 2020 6:11 pmAt least he had the balls to go on the Chase.. Re: Bosscat on the Chase
Did you mention being a Claret? I recorded an episode of Pointless in 2016 which was broadcast in 2018, and I got mentions for Bury and my first book (because the second hadnβt been written yet) in and even sold five copies of the book based on it.
(Series 18 episode 52 on YouTube if youβre interested).

That's class. Did you know how many visitors the mention got you, that resulted in the 5 sales?jamesisaburyfan wrote: βMon Jul 13, 2020 7:29 pmI recorded an episode of Pointless in 2016 which was broadcast in 2018, and I got mentions for Bury and my first book (because the second hadnβt been written yet) in and even sold five copies of the book based on it.

Yeah, that's true. It's not often the first person up goes high.Steve1956 wrote: βMon Jul 13, 2020 8:40 pmOk Geoff,I do apolagise hadnt seen that, and I think you was unlucky you had the balls to go for the big offer...respect!...and but the way I really think your shirts lovely, can you let me know where you got it I'm going to get one and wear it on my upcoming appearance on Danny Dyer's the waulllll
Bosscat - were their any warm up sessions, where you were asked practice questions, shown how to work the buzzer etc?
I know someone who has been on 15 to 1 (won his show, but didn't make the leaderboard), and he also went on Tipping Point. He said on Tipping Point, they send you straight in - no warmups, nothing.

Re: Bosscat on the Chase
Just watched it as recorded it earlier. Not the easiest of questions bosscat, but wouldn't have accepted the higher offer myself. Wasn't high enough as it never really is for contestant 1.
