Horrendous. Especially Karen Carney!

To be fair the commentators and commentary is more aimed at West Ham as they have a lot more fans/viewers than us plus neutrals will be a lot more interested in West Ham
With that in mind its understandable that their b-team commentators (Man City is the big game) dont know everything about us and are bound to make a few small errors

The commentators should be neutral not favour the team people are interested in.
Getting basic facts wrong and players surnames wrong is more than small errors imo

Nah its an entertainment business, they know their audience and they can choose whatever commentators they like.
Apart from the odd hiccup think she's come across as pretty well and very knowledgeable

I don;t think fans anywhere get decent punditry, the standards are abysmal from commentaries to post match nattering.
its either the usual clique of ex players, or the dross of tonights commentary on BT.
The woman tonight sounded like she was having a do at work experience, shockingly bad.

That was the worst commentating/summarising I’ve ever heard.
Facts wrong. Missed incidents, not knowing the rules(SD going mad about a drop ball)
Ian Darke is normally bearable so whether she got to him we’ll never know. She should never work again.

I couldn’t get to see the game but listened on radio 5 where the commentary was excellent. Clinton Morrison was the summariser ,has a slightly funny manner but he knows his stuff and is always fair. Tonight he confirmed in his opinion Pope is England’s no 1.

I usually get an NBC stream.
They are pretty good comms.
Couldn't find one tonight, for some reason.
Those two on BT tonight we're so bad, so annoying with it, I actually turned the sound off.

Agreed there Electro. I'm inclined to agree with him though. If that challenge was on one of ours, we'd go bonkers.

If they'd had a mischievous 'prompter/stats man on hand, he could have had them shooting each other several times throughout.

At one point she made a gaff about a drop ball,saying we should have challenged it,Darke put her right saying you couldnt anymore...she then sad "oh yes social distancing" i really think she meant it.

God almighty are you serious? She sounded bloody awful vocally , while female summary /commentary can work well in some sports it just doesn’t in football . She vaguely reminded of someone “ having a go” after winning a competition . The nonsense spouted about Westwood “ stepping up” to the prem was pure farce . There’s been some dreadful commentary since the return but this was up there .

Every time Burnley got a corner they talked about how West Ham should defend it. If West Ham got a corner they talked about how West Ham should go about getting through the Burnley defence.
Apart from 'Pope being first Burnley England goalkeeper' and 'Rodriguez not being good in the air' I didn't notice anything else. Shows what I know about football.
