Burnley’s best eleven

Post by Newcastleclaret93 » Wed Jul 15, 2020 11:10 pm

Seen a lot of people saying our team is dramatically weakened at the moment. I don’t think we are too far away from our best team.

My best starting eleven would be:

Pope
Bardsley, Tarks, Mee, Taylor
Gudmundson, Cork, Westwood, Brady
McNeil
Jay Rod

If that group were all match fit I would love to see it one day whilst feeling sorry for Brownhill who can be our best midfielder and Vydra who changes our threat for the better.

Would win the most games:
Pope
Bardsley Tarks Mee Taylor
JBG Westwood Cork/Brownhill McNeil
Jay Wood

Best footballers individually to play a different style:

Pope
Lowton Tarks Mee Taylor
McNeil Brownhill
JBG Vydra/Jay Brady
Jay/Wood

This system would be good for us as Vydra would also be good in the 10 position, jay could also do a job there, and they are all very interchangeable. However, we will not see it happen.
