Burnley v Brighton - TV coverage
Will this match be on TV and do we know what channel?

Re: Burnley v Brighton
Isn't it unlikely as both teams will be just playing for a league placing. Isn't it more likely to be WHU and Villa as well as Bournemouth and Watford games if there are still relegation places to be decided as well as games affecting European places? Expect just flashes to our games. Would be generous if all 10 could be available somehow but such largesse is rare.

Forgive my ignorance, but do Sky get first pick of all the games, with the others left with what Sky don't want?

TV coverage last day of season
commentator has just announced that BT are covering 2 games on Sunday...but they haven’t been allocated which games yet.
Seems strange that the broadcasters are still unaware of who they are covering and where they have to send their personnel!

That must be the Burnsley v Blighton & Hoove Arbion match then?Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 8:31 pmBT2 with Karen Carney commentating and Chris Sutton in the studio is the dream ticket
It's likely that Burnsley will have had no goalkeepers who have played for England available and no forwards who are good in the air.

If it is Caren Karney and Chris Sutton, the club could have a 'commentary mistake bingo card' printed in the match programme.BigRedrose wrote: ↑Tue Jul 21, 2020 8:48 pmOnly for you DA, as you seemed to be the only person who enjoyed her commentary of the West Ham game.

Re: Burnley v Brighton - TV coverage
I can only assume that they're waiting for tonight's games to be done, so that Sky can get the best 8 and leave BT with the leftovers like with the pundits.

Yes, they waited until the final whistle at Anfield... then all the Sky games were announced.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Wed Jul 22, 2020 8:26 pmI can only assume that they're waiting for tonight's games to be done, so that Sky can get the best 8 and leave BT with the leftovers like with the pundits.
BT get Newcastle v Liverpool and West Ham v Aston Villa.
Sky have all the others with Leicester v ManU on main event and Everton v Bournemouth on golf. Football, Arena, Premier League, Action, One/Pick and Mix are the other channels, with games from alphabetic order of fixtures.
Main Event also has Swansea v Brentford, Championship semi-final first leg at 18:30 ko.
