Norwho? Versus MIGHTY CLARETS

Post by IanMcL » Sat Jul 18, 2020 4:11 pm

3 points the desire for our heroes and if all goes well, up the league we go

Madge remains fully fired up and aiming for Europe, if the wind blows well.

Good afternoon all from a dry but overcast day here in Galway .
Now a long wait today for the big game well the only game in the Prem .
Think we will have too much for Norwich in the end set plays will be big today from us .

We won't go that far up the league, but we can climb to 9th with a win, and go level on points with Sheff Utd, the higher up the table we can finish the better as far i'm concerned, and 3 points here will see us equal our best ever PL haul, so plenty to play for.

Cheeky from Emlyn Begley @ The Beeb:

"And it's the big one as a team already relegated host a team who have a small chance of qualifying for the Europa League but probably don't even want to be there."

I'll try and remember to take my Burnley top off again - a good job I remembered last week, as otherwise we'd have lost 1-0.

Thought we looked tired against a strong Wolves squad. Think we are safe for a top 10 and anything higher will be a bonus. Just hope we can get thru the last 2 games with no more injuries. UTC

Out of form but surprised to see Pukki benched. Experimenting for next season probably, maybe even assuming he'll get poached.

You are a week ahead of us Derry. Any chance of a couple of winners from Mondays racing?

After a couple of days of normal mid 20's summer weather, we're back to the high heat here in SW Ontario. Currently 32, feeling like 40 with humidity.

I have a feeling we may struggle a bit today, the lads must be running on fumes! 1-0 Burnley in a drab affair.

£3 on a 0-4 gets me £150? Is that just a tad ambitious?

Individual punts on Chris, Jay. Josh and Dwight as scorers will hopefully cover the loss if that's pushing it a bit - but I am hoping for a quick cash out just before half time.

Seasons nearly over and I don't flutter in the close season.
Betting its a mugs game!

Wood has 4 in 3 games against Norwich so he had to start, and if Jay's fit then he had to start also, shame for Vydra being benched, but he might yet get a chance later in the game.

The rest pick themselves.
