You dont judge a player on one game, I don't know anything about him other than yesterday, when Godfrey had a good game as well. Krul looked good, but how does a team that has so many good players defend as badly as Norwich have this season?

You are right. I thought Zimmermann looked good in the second half but he was by then in a line up that was very un-Norwich like in that they had been set up to defend.

There’s no way he and Godfrey could have played that well all season given how easy it’s been to score against them.

No idea. All season I’ve thought they were just a team of great young players that are inexperienced at this level. Yesterday they showed their edgier side, but I questioned whether they’re actually as good as I thought. Cantwell anonymous for example.

In all of that it was Krul, Godfrey and Zimmermann that stood out to me. Hoping Sean was in a few of their ears after the match :D

He reminds me of Smalling does that Godfrey, as in he looks wrong at centre back but can play a bit.

Some of the young talent at Norwich is exceptional. I’d anything, last season’s promotion probably came as a surprise. I think they’ll be back in the top-flight very soon.

If they bounce straight back they will have to go about things differently. They will need to model themselves on Burnley to have any chance of survival, like us they don't have the funds to spend big

Norwich are getting a lot of criticism now in the media for what is perceived as going up, making no effort to stay up and just taking the money.

This is what I don't understand with the media, if all teams spent £100 mill plus, 3 teams will still get relegated. Don't know the facts but getting promoted last season will have created big bonuses and maybe they cleared some debts. Some are more annoyed that the manager did not play his best players!

They are using us as an example of how to do things within a budget.
We are a shining light, so to speak, for clubs who don't have owners with deep pockets.

What got me about Norwich was that the full backs got in good positions to cross the ball and then passed the ball backwards giving us chance to to reset the defence. The early cross is something we do very well and cause problems because of it.

I thought they were better, earlier in the season, when they had lots of injuries!

Loss of confidence and an inevitability set in, probably. Difficult mindset to escape, even when down a division.

Godfrey looked a good player but with no spine or hard edge. I wonder how it felt to be on your own, like a complete unknown ?

Zimmermann has had a few injuries but they definitely miss him when he’s out.

Norwich’s main issue is that Farke refused to change the way they played to suit the premier league. Pretty to watch but not very effective. He also tinkered too much.

Shame they’re down as it’s a nice easy away day for me.

It’s fairly amazing that so many of Norwich’s defensive unit are highly sought after.

It’s almost as if nobody has watched some of their horrific displays this season.

Wasn't that the same criticism aimed at us the first time we came up under Dyche? Norwich get a lot more respect from me for getting promoted, spending what they can afford to spend and building the club, than say Villa who get promoted, spend an absolute fortune on fees and wages, still get relegated in mountains of debt then going into administration 3-4 years from now leaving a host of creditors behind.

Dyche might be looking to stretch the finance, but by and large our club is run how it should be - spend what you can afford, live within your means and put some away for a rainy day.

It’s come from a lot of ex players too. They spent virtually nothing. Similar with us I suppose but not as extreme.
