Tarkowski

Post by northernpowerhouse » Tue Jul 21, 2020 11:19 pm

1st in the PL for number of clearances.
1st for headed clearances.
2nd for blocks, 1 behind Tyrone Mings.

Lets hope he seals the treble against Brighton!

Also Chris Wood is in line to retain his title for most offsides. Just two ahead of Callum Wilson. Don't mess it up!

The very top defenders dont have to block and boot it clear as much because they tend to win the ball back from the opposition. For our style of play thats what defending is all about so no surprise to see him up there with the season he has had

And I'd rather Woody continue playing to the fine margins he does rather than be cautious.
He's a class act.

Well said. Unsung (we still don't have a song for him) hero is our Chris.

Not surprising about the stats for Tarkowski. Since being made captain he has been absolutely immense
