Tonight's footy 22/7/20 (the promised land beckons)
Man Utd-West Ham
Liverpool-Chelsea
and in the Champ a shoot-out between
West Brom home to QPR
Brentford home to Barnsley, who are fighting for survival
Fulham could yet gate crash the automatic places, but they'll need to win at Wigan and hope the other 2 slip up.
And the last play-off place is still up for grabs.
Forest should be OK they are home to Stoke.
But there's a battle between the 2 South Wales clubs.
Cardiff-Hull
Reading-Swansea
Are the key games.
And the relegation battle is still alive Hull, Barnsley, Luton, Charlton are scrapping for their lives, but Wigan could yet be dragged into the melee depending on what happens with their points deduction.
Exciting conclusion for the neutrals, and we've still got the playoffs to come.

Re: Tonight's footy 22/7/20 (the promised land beckons)
I think WBA will win and Brentford will have to take it on the chin from choking under the pressure of it being in their hands last game to finish 2nd.
Hull look to be already down due to their GD.
The Welsh battle between Swansea and Cardiff to get 6th, although it looks likely to be Cardiff now, with being at home to Hull.
The Wigan situation seems unlikely to take effect this season, due to what I've read, that they could appeal which would take into the new season.

Re: Tonight's footy 22/7/20 (the promised land beckons)
I'm really looking forward to the Championship's denouement; Man U v WHA as a tasty starter.
Man U have picked De Gea in goal, itd be amusing if he let in another soft one but I think Man U should win this.
Championship- It'd be great for it to go right to the last 5 minutes for 2nd place and bottom 3 places. Getting the popcorn ready. Id love Brentford or Fulham to pip WBA because those grounds are much easier for me & I have some bad memories of The Hawthorns.

I'd much prefer Brentford to finish second and then for a team like Cardiff to win the playoffs.
But I can't see anything other than WBA finishing second now. Brentford blew it big time.

Can West Ham do what Burnley did? Manchester United are unbeaten in 12 Premier League matches (W8-D4-L0), since a 2-0 defeat against Burnley on 22 January.

Can’t see any of WBA, Bees or Blues staying up but Bees have entertained me more than the other two so I’m shouting for the tonight.
The current Leeds team would struggle but with a top manager in situ and some wise acquisitions I think he ‘ll grow the club, sadly.

1-0 WH Antonio pen, given by VAR after Pogba handball. United making hard work of nailing down a top 4 place.

It'll be interesting when the Internationals start again - Greenwood and Foden have to be in the next squad.

He's a prodigy there's no doubt, if he goes on to have a career as good as this trio he'll be doing well.
No teenager has ever scored more goals in a single season in all competitions for Manchester United than Mason Greenwood (17 - level with George Best in 1965-66, Brian Kidd in 1967-68 and Wayne Rooney in 2004-05).

For England it will have to be a case of they score 2, so England have to score 3. I'm not impressed with the defensive options, especially Stones/Maguire.

Cardiff, Derby, Leeds, Millwall, PNE, Rovers, Sheff Wed, Stoke & Swansea all winning.
Brentford, Fulham & WBA all 0-0.
Top two as it stands: Leeds, West Brom
Play-offs as it stands: Brentford, Fulham, Nottm Forest, Cardiff
Relegated as it stands: Wigan, Barnsley, Hull
I'm sure they'll be plenty of twists & turns yet.

Finished 1-1 at OT, West Ham safe now, United still have work to do on the final afternoon. Chelsea with a great chance to clinch a top 4 place tonight.
Means we're still the last team to beat Man U in the PL, it's not been a great week for Ole or United.

Horrible voice has Max........I was amused by Pogba pretending the ball had hit his nose by checking for blood.
If that had hit him on the nose he'd be out for a week.
