Is 5th from left the little welsh guy who scored that goal for Wrexham in their famous cup win against Arsenal? Cant remember his name but think we was a bit of a dodgy character.

I expect the little Welsh guy might have been there that day at Wrexham but wouldn't have been playing.

Was this against Sunderland in 2004, for Stan’s last game?

Stan's last game is correct wilks-bfc, but not Sunderland. It's Stan's testimonial.

Think it would have been Stan Ternent's testimonial match v Man Utd in '04.

Cant get the guy second from the left, the man in between Alex Ferguson and Mark Bright or the younger bald guy talking to Willie Irvine.

I stand to be corrected but I think the following features for Man United that night:

Eric Djemba Djemba
Chris Eagles
Tom Heaton
Phil Bardsley
David Jones

Not clues but number 2 is a former manager of a club not far away and I thought he was very unpleasant that night, number 6 is an ex-Claret who made his debut in the top flight at Chelsea. Number 13 worked with Stan in Yorkshire and he was a gentleman.

Rossi is now our local ice cream man. What a fall from grace. He does have the MOTD tune as his chimes so must still love the game.

Apologies to 4 20, I'd missed that one.

Saxton and Dolan completes it.

That day it was preceded by a golf day up at BGC. I was lucky enough to play in a team with Kindon. Still got the memorabilia box. Had tea with Steve Bruce - nice bloke and spoke of the likes of Mickey Wardrobe and other North East recruits. They were all so approachable and friendly; Sir Alex, Big Sam, Moyesie - super day.

Figured it would be related to Stan with who the people in the photo were, so said the league game as I’d forgot about the testimonial game (even though I was there)

The attendance was surprisingly low from memory. I was expecting more, considering what Stan had done for the club. I think I sat in the BL for some reason.

What's the story on Saxton CT? Surely no axe to bear because of local rivalry?

He was just unpleasant but he wasn’t the only one - Reid & Ellis were no better. Dolan, Bright & Hendrie were really good to talk to though.
