As long as they finish below us, I'm not to concerned.

West Brom's biggest problem could be the stand-off between China and Britain at government level - as of today China has banned the broadcasting of Premier League football in the country - sending money out of the country to invest in a football club is potentially something that could be stopped - it has happened before in 2017

Could this get that gibberish from the front of our shirts?

it is a possibility - though LoveBet is registered in Malta - so has monies off mainland China - I am looking at the parent company to see what leverage the Chinese state has over them

They limped over the finishing line, so unless they strengthen they'll struggle, however Bilic is a decent manager, so they have a chance, i don't think they'll be the cannon fodder that Norwich have been this season, but they're a team we should be hoping to finish above.

As mentioned, Bilic is a good manager, so I wouldn't put them as a certainty to go back down.

I hope Cardiff or Swansea win the playoffs, as I'd see either of those as more likely to drop back down. Brentford too, possibly. But I think Fulham's experience will help them stay up if they were to win the playoffs.

Leeds, WBA and Fulham, I'm not sure any of them would be cannon fodder, unfortunately.

West Brom were a tad fortunate to go up and have Stoke and Barnsley
to thank for doing so. They do have a few decent players
but will probably need another 3 or 4 to stand a chance.
Leeds, I think, will probably do reasonably well.

Whatever, I do think it's going to be another tough season next year.
I just hope we manage to get one or two decent ones in.

I was a bit concerned about WBA coming up as they always seem to do well against us, and usually have a strong, workmanlike squad (albeit lacking in flair). But thats worked for us and Sheff Utd.

They are usually reasonably backed. But with competition in that part of the world with Wolves, Leicester and maybe Villa they might not be that appealing to new players.

But we and sheff united have shown our style of player and type of recruitment works. They would do well to follow that model and try and compete in our pool!

We have to hope that Cardiff or even Swansea come up via the play offs as id imagine they would struggle most. Brentfords unknown quantity could really work for them. And fulham will always spend. (granted doesn't guarantee nothing).

If Leeds go all out spending vast somes on veteran players it could be a recipe for disaster.

Leeds may spend (and they need some Premier League nous) but it will not be on veterans looking for a last payday - their approach requires very high levels of fitness

Bilic has said how draining this season has been for him.

Not a good sign with a quick turn around between seasons.

I would argue that both West Brom and Leeds will struggle if they don’t get themselves a decent striker. I imagine both will really struggle to score goals similar to Norwich

trail appears to go from Malta to the Isle of Man to the Paradise papers(!!! :?: - more investigation required on my part) but not China (at this point at least) - China appears just to be a market place for their online activities not a business/major shareholder location

Charlie Austin?
Charlie had a good PL season in 2014-15 when he netted 18 for QPR, but his record since then isn't outstanding 16 in 71 for Southampton, and his injuries are still persisting, if WBA are relying purely on Charlie's goals they are going to struggle.

Ditto Leeds with Bamford.
