Young Offenders BBC1

Post by Funkydrummer » Fri Jul 24, 2020 9:54 pm

Anyone watching this absolute tripe, masquerading as comedy ? Just finished in the garden,
dived in the shower and settled down for a bit of TV and a beer or two to be confronted by,
what I consider to be, one of the biggest load of fouled mouthed comedy rubbish that has ever
been my misfortune to come across.

The majority of which has taken place in front of a baby. Disgraceful imo.

Each to their own I suppose.

Before anyone says anything, I have found the channel switch.

Just finished watching it. Its not father Ted for sure, but mildly amusing. I don't think the baby understood the swearing tbh

Just logged in.....quiet evening reading. Mrs Browns Boys set the Modern Trend for sitcoms/ comedy? A long time ago. Looking back there was fcuk all wrong with "Till Death Us Do Part" IMO.

Apart from the occasional gem the tv shows have generally been dire.
The film was decent.

Have you seen the first 2 series? They were excellent, this one is weaker to be fair.

Obviously you havent seen Mrs browns boys....

Take your point tho.... I was looking forward to it as the first two series and the film were quite good. Last nites offering was poor in comparison.

Talking of TV, has anybody watched 'Accused: Guilty or Innocent?'

They follow the case leading up to the trial, detailing all the evidence and then film the verdict at the end. It's in the States.

I watched it last week where there didn't appear to be enough evidence to convict her and she looked innocent to me - guilty. 60 years in prison.
