Clarets season?

Over-achievers, under-achievers or par? Here’s what the Guardian thinks of all PL sides.
Agree or not?

I could have written that as it is exactly how I see it.

Won't be any easier next season even if Sean stays, If he leaves however we could be in the doodoo.

Who expects Burnley to finish around 10th place every season in the Premier League ? Not me.

He is more likely to be in it than us. He just won't get the time needed to bring in his methods anywhere else. If he leaves a guaranteed £3.5m a year for somewhere like West Spam he is a very silly man. Which he is of course not.

Definitely next season - we'll have fewer games before Boxing Day.

Compliment or not, I still think a top half finish for us should be seen a overachieving, particularly with the injuries and other stuff we’ve had to contend with recently.

We seem to be constantly motivated, when others are either supercharged for big prizes, trying to avoid relegation or couldn't give a toss!

If wrcfinish 10th then that is a very good, hoped for season. 8th with record points, over achievement.

Hats off to the manager, staff and lads....again.

Not sure how Leicester and wolves are overachievers and we are only par. Surely that only makes sense if we are all similar strength teams... which we are not. Id say we were at least 10 points above our par score. City are at least 10 below theirs. Sheffield Utd would surely win the handicap league. Liverpool are probably not that far off anticipated points... it is the competition that have failed miserably. Spurs and Arsenal spectacularly so.
