UTC Fantasy Premier League - Update
Best of luck to all those close to the top of the table going into the final game of the season.
The shutdown situation in the end was easily resolved. With no matches in April and May, the manager of the month awards were replaced with June and July.
Once the final table is confirmed, I'll update the sticky with the winners and will contact them to arrange payment of the prizes.
Thanks to all those who took part this season.

Cheers CT
It’s very tight at the top - big day / big decisions on who to captain etc.
Pep’s rotation policy could scupper things as it usually does !!
The final day has produced some high scoring games in recent years - let’s hope it does today.

If I am lucky I can make a late run and finish 95th, any prizes for that?

Re: UTC Fantasy Premier League - Update
I’ve had a hugely successful season and won manager of the month in both April and May. I think that might be due to everyone being on zero points for those two months and me being there because I was the first to join the league.claretburns wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 11:16 amIf I am lucky I can make a late run and finish 95th, any prizes for that?

Re: UTC Fantasy Premier League - Update
I was up in the top 10 for a couple of months earlier in the season but down to c 60 now. Still, ever optimistic, I'm aiming to rise a few places today.
It's more difficult than usual to double guess team selections. I'll wait a while yet & see if I can sniff out any indicators before the deadline this afternoon.
Man City can't finish anything but 2nd but the Champions League resumption only a couple of weeks away. Likely to knock a few in v Norwich but who will be playing is a conundrum.
Chelsea, Arsenal have FA Cup final next Saturday, Arsenal might well rest a few but Chelsea need to do their best to get into the Champions League place in the League. I hope Arsenal don't rest loads and make it easier for Watford at least.
I guess the fall back position is to have some handy subs on the bench. Decisions, decisions.....

Bonus points are in. Congrats to Daniel for holding on to 1st. Real close battle, I was 5th but something like 150 pts behind at Xmas time and only 13 by the end.

Had a shocker since the restart.
Well done to all the winners.

Re: UTC Fantasy Premier League - Update
Finished in top ten and won a monthly prize...so pretty pleased. Was up to 2nd place at one point.
Need to learn how to use my chips better as that definitely cost me in the last few weeks and ended up being the difference.
Well done to the winner.
In the overall world competition going into the last week the current World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen was in 4th place !! He had a poor week though with 40 points and ended up 11th.
The guy who was leading had his triple captain chip left and tragically used it on Salah only scoring 3 points - ouch. Some Russian sounding guy who was in 3rd place had a great week with 93 points to storm through and win it.
