Ederson takes it this season at this rate.

Doesn't take away anything from Pope's superb season though.

Must admit I'd never heard of the award until recently. Didn't think Pope could have done much with the two today, especially the first

I think it was inevitable that Ederson would win it.

Sod's law.

And finishing below Arsenal.

Silver glove for Nick. Better than bronze!

Still England’s number one is Pope.

What the hell was Pickfraud doing for Bournemouth’s third?!

People getting their knickers in a twist over golden glove. Reading the match thread more people wanted that than a victory today. What a joke.

Without wanting to sound too partisan, I note from the Times season stats today that Emerson doesn’t feature in the list for top number of saves made Nick Pope was fourth I think.
That suggests that he had to work much harder for his clean sheets (which we know).
Should number of saves be taken into account in awarding the Golden Glove?

Maybe on a tiebreaker but ederson a clear game ahead.

Pope made 112 saves (5th)
Ederson made 65 (2nd fewest)

Pope has definitely had to do more to earn those clean sheets. That being said Ederson is a class keeper. It's nice to have Pope in that company!

Ederson has won it. He deserves it.

Nick had a great season. Well done to him. But Ederson deserves the award.
