I think I fell in love with her when I first saw her as Maid Marion playing opposite Errol Flynn in The Advntures of Robin Hood. RIP my lovely Maid Marion.

IIRC, she was also related to the De Havillands that created the Mosquito fighter bomber; arguably the finest multi role aircraft of WW2. RIP.

You're right Benny, Geoffrey De Havilland, the founder of the aircraft company, was her cousin.

She was a bit dischuffed of her portrayal by Catherine Zeta Jones in "Feud" the Betty Davis/Joan Crawford mini-series ....

But hey 104 what good age and still have a full bag of marbles .... RIP
