One Size (Fitz Hall) is the greatest nickname in the history of sport and i am pretty sure you can't convince me otherwise.

Colin W@nker for me . Most of the above were press monikers than actual nicknames though I’d bet your average 70’80’s changing room had some corkers

Fitz Hall is unbeatable but Wasim Akram, Sultan Of Swing, I loved.
Worked with a Nelson guy Ron Keddick, some on here might know him? He was obviously known as Don. Don Keddick, say it quick.

Following on from the All Blacks rugby team, many New Zealand sporting teams have come up with similar nicknames, such as the Black Caps (cricket), Tall Blacks (basketball) and Black Sticks (hockey).

Best of all though must be the NZ badminton team who, for a short while at least, called themselves the Black Cocks.
