Offer on the table elsewhere do you reckon ?

Otherwise, why throw away a potential payout or continued employment at Wigan ?

He has been linked with both Birmingham & Bristol City but one of those jobs disappeared yesterday.

Think he is decent manager learning is trade slowly just my opinion might be a future manager of the clarets utc

PC will get another job soon enough after his impressive run with Wigan, i can see plenty of Championship clubs being interested in him.

I don't think he's ready to take the step up to the elite league yet, but in a few years he could well be on the radar of some PL owners, if he continues to develop and achieve success.

I was thinking with Wigan's financial problems he might be happy to ignore a payout claim or continued salary to help them out. But also on the otherhand, if a club was in for him, why not stay at Wigan to give them the compensation the other club would pay for his services?

If he's resigned -as reported- he won't be getting any pay.

He was close to the sack at Christmas when they were bottom but they couldn’t afford to sack him. And then came this remarkable run.
