Re: ASTON VILLA
Grealish is a fantastic player. Almost single-handedly kept Villa up. Let’s face it any sane Burnley fan would love to have him in their side.
I think a lot of you really don’t know what you’re talking about.
Or just displaying the bellendary you are accusing Grealish of...

I thought it was referring to his happy skip - nothing to do with sexuality.

Re: ASTON VILLA
This is what it boils down to really isn't it, a bit of jealousy. Wealthy young men who look good in a small pair of swimming shorts having a good time in the sun with attractive ladies. At least you're honest about why you're demonising them.Zlatan wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 12:12 pmNo, what is pathetic is poncy little footballers thinking that because they can afford to pay any fines they can do what they want irrespective of the rules whilst the rest of us (who actually pay their wages) have to adhere to rules because we understand the severity of the pandemic.
Re: ASTON VILLA
you've got me completely wrong if you think I'm jealous, far from it.
Re: ASTON VILLA
Buy-back options are probably of little value anyway. For certain, if the player doesn't want to move, they can't be made to. And I would be very surprised if they could stop Villa selling to anyone else either, because a contract between two companies that purports to stop an individual from changing jobs and moving to another company altogether is (IMO) unlikely to stand up.claretburns wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 9:59 amReports that City have a buy back option on Luiz and are considering making the offer.
Re: ASTON VILLA
I wanted Villa to go down but this season Grealish changed my mind on him, fantastic player with the ball and works his arse off without it. Proper player

Grealish has something about him and is a good player. Wouldn't call him fantastic. He's a prima donna, which isn't necessarily his fault. There's plenty of them about in the PL.chekhov wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 12:24 pmGrealish is a fantastic player. Almost single-handedly kept Villa up. Don't think he'd endear himself to the fans, manager or team mates with the way he conducts himself.
We're fortunate to have a manager who instils professionalism and a level headed attitude. We're lucky in that even in our successful team of the 50's/60's. Those players were level headed. Miller owned a newsagents, Connelly a chip shop, Bellamy lived in a Bungalow in Gawthorpe after hanging up the boots.
Somehow I don't think Burnley fans would like a flash, arrogant player who clearly thinks he is better than he is.
There's an example of a humble, inspirational player who played down the road at Man City. David Silva. Now that's a player who Burnley fans would appreciate and love in the side because he loves the game, has oodles of talent but is so far removed from Grealish it's untrue.
