Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
Voted for it, but I've no idea what the other goals were like. Great goal shaded by JayRod's at OT. Why isn't that on the list?

Done.
As above, it was a superb goal, but I'd have had Jay's effort putting 3pts to bed for us at OT a notch above.

Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
Jays strike against Chelsea was better...
Just watched all these and some absolute pearlers in there. Barnes’ was excellent, as was de Bruynes second one but the main one for me was Sons. Outstanding.
Having said all that, I voted for Matej.

Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
He did score an absolute worldy against Chelsea. Where most of us shouted don’t bother. But it came in a game we had already lost.

Are we allowed to actually vote for the best one?

Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
I don't get the fascination with Sons, I don't think he made a tackle or dribble, he was just faster than every Burnley player on the pitch, and showed it.
Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
Well for a start Fernandes goal should be nowhere near a goal of season contender.
Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
Jay Rods goal against united was far better.

He showed great technique, control and accuracy.
How is that being shallow minded?

Ya know UG, this IS a Burnley FC website, and it’s absolutely natural to be wearing the tinted glasses we do. Maybe a general (neutral) football site will be better for you....
Just sayin like...

Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
Jay’s strike at Man United was superb, Matej’s strike against Southampton was world class (in dreadful conditions)
I think they’ve got it correct.

Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
Remember it's only goals that won goal of the month that can be included, ruling out any Jay Rodriguez goals.
Vydra won goal of the month in February hence its inclusion.

Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
I just see things realistically and put things into perspective. Vydras goal wasn't the best goal for Bunrley never mind all the clubs. Just vote for what you think is the best goal, not just because it was Burnley. Its actually unbelievable how childish adults can be (I take it your an adult)

Hendrick’s goal at Brighton was my favourite. Great move, lovely clean, controlled strike from a quality Vydra touch ... at a great time in the game ... and against Brighton

By the way I can guess what you were doing when you chose your username!
Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
It was that fantastic strike in the shamrock Rovers v dundalk game. At least it should have been.

Ha! Think I know where you are coming from but I actually chose the name from a club I used to go to. Felt appropriate for the times. Do you like Chekhov? Saw Uncle Vanya on stage a few years back. Thought it was excellent.

Re: ARTICLE: Vote for Vydra
Cheers for the reply. Yes I love Chekhov. I did a bit of theatre a few years ago and that’s where I got the inspiration for my username. Thought yours might have been the result of some blue sky thinking. Geddit?
