You could fit the entire population of Jamshedpur into 28 Turf Moors.

Fair play to him. Not many would be prepared to move to such a different country. Sounds like he's done well over there so far.

Or alternatively, how many need to head to India to find work in football?

Ecstatic upon signing for Jamshedpur FC, Owen said, “Jamshedpur has a tremendous football legacy. The club has all the right things in place

Sounds familiar, doesn't it.

He said he left his last job in Scotland because his family were too far away in England and then went to India. He was sacked at Ross County as it happened and he can’t get a job anywhere else. I don’t know what they will make of the Irn Bru & Krispy Kreme doughnuts there.

We’ve all made mistakes. He made one. A big one admittedly. But everything for a reason. It’s worked out pretty well for us since.

I prefer to be grateful now for him giving us the belief we could get back to this level. And a couple of the best days any of us have ever had.

Wembley and the play offs have to be as good as any experience any of us have had. In and outside football.

TBH I have started to feel a bit sorry for him. He won't get anyway near a British job with his track record of abject failure so he has to talk up the league he is in.

We were losing money, youth set up in bits, floating about in mid table of the Championship and didn't know our arse from our elbow when Dyche arrived.

If you want 'a big part' , look no further than the man who is in charge now.

BOT might be about as "woke" as Alf Garnett, but this is absolutely spot on.

Where we are today has diddly squat to do with Coyle.

The promotion under him was brilliant, but we were going nowhere before Howe left. Dyche managed to instill that belief and self confidence back into the players as well as tightening us up defensively. The first promotion under him was done with largely different players, many signed by Howe, so no way can we attribute any of it to Coyle.

Much as I dislike the guy the football we played when promoted was quite magical. Eagles, Patterson, Blake, Elliott, Thompson, Clarke and one or two others were at the top of their game. Nugent and Fletcher followed and weren't bad either. The rest is history

Even during his interview with Alistair Campbell at the town hall when we were celebrating our play off victory he was playing us off against Celtic for more cash. He is the luckiest manager we have ever had, when his luck started to desert him he cleared off faster then you could say 10 years ahead.

It can’t all be done to luck. I remember an interview with Robbie Blake on tv where he said the players would run through brick walls for Coyle.

The football was fantastic, the best I have ever seen. I will never forget being at Reading, Wembley, or the Etihad when we made it 3-3.

I vented most of my frustration that night at Bolton, and moved on quite quickly. Life is too short.

He was running out of luck, I agree the the football at times was sensational however the lucky win in the run up at Blackpool, in the play offs AB getting sent off and missing the second leg, the decisions that went against Sheffield, the at times calamitous defending and the winless run started to tarnish the gloss. Also we would have been deep in the crap financially had we not gone up.

Jamshedpur is a new city, over a million people, club owed by Tata Steel. Very rich part of India compared to others. He’ll be earning a pretty penny. Good on him.

The football was fantastic, the best I have ever seen.
The only ever Burnley match I've left at half time (I've got on a few at half time like) was under Coyle. We scraped into the play offs (in style mind) on the last day. Some of the football was good, some of it was awful.

Do not get me wrong, they were fantastic times, some memorable moments, a complete buzz about the place for the brief period he was here. And Wembley will live in any Burnley fans hearts forever.

But for f**ks sake, he's a lying chancer and he's been found out as one, more than once.
