Well apart from the Garden centre there isn't really a lot else to do

I believe there are even issues at the golf club at the minute , which is one of the most expensive in the North West region. Have to say I played there recently and the course was well below it's usual high standard..

House fell short by 24 runs in a high scoring game at Walsden. Gale hit 101 in a total of 225/5 for Walsden. Dean Barlow with 54 for Lowerhouse who finished 201/9.

6s aplenty..one smashing the rear window of a Landrover parked outside the ground and another gashing open the head of a spectator which held the game up while first aid was applied and paramedic called for. The gentleman concerned was tended to and was fine after a bit of glue.

Obviously no need to look after the greens if they are all the cricket club

Maybe so but most clubs in the Ribb league at the minute are playing first and 2nd team fixtures on separate days of the weekend to get two teams out.

Including 4 more wickets for Kez and a hat trick for Imran Abid on his final appearance for Rawtenstall.
