Today's footie 10/8/20
Man Utd struggling against Copenhagen 0-0 at HT. Inter 2-1 to the good against Leverkusen, Lukaku and Havertz amongst the scorers.
If Utd and Wolves can come through their respective ties, then an English finalist is guaranteed.

I feel as though I should be interested in these games but, tbh, I'm not.

Re: Today's footie 10/8/20
Watching United v Copenhagen now. They’ve battered them to be fair, scored twice (offside), hit the post two or three times, keepers pulled off some worldies. Got 0-1 Copenhagen written all over it

Re: Today's footie 10/8/20
Well considering this is supposed to be primarily a football board i'd have thought there might be some interest, but clearly people would rather discuss inane topics such as brexit which everyone is sick to death of.
It's worth mentioning that if we draw Utd or Wolves in the early weeks of the season, and we have to move our fixtures then people will care.

Exactly. Shows how crap the decision was not to give Jay a pen against Brighton. Jay just plays for the wrong team, clearly.

Re: Today's footie 10/8/20
You forgot about Utd's obligatory penalty award NC, TBF they deserve that over the piece, the Danes haven't managed an effort on target yet.

Copenhagen keeper having a top game
Re: Today's footie 10/8/20
Agree with Vegas.Falk Jensen looks a very good player, attacking midfielder age 28 valued around 1.3 million.

Re: Today's footie 10/8/20
Was soft, think I’d be disappointed if it weren’t given for us though. Bit like JRods vs Brighton - there was contact & he gave the ref a decision to make. Different outcome this time because it’s Man United and/or they have competent VAR officials.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Mon Aug 10, 2020 10:16 pmSorry for jumping on this thread but Goodclaret can you email me please: admin at uptheclarets dot com - nothing urgent but relating to Earby Clarets.

Re: Today's footie 10/8/20
Ah I thought 29 was good too. Keeper had an absolute blinder.
Re: Today's footie 10/8/20
He’s certainly got a good eye for a finish

Re: Today's footie 10/8/20
I was quite impressed by Copenhagen. Typical comments by the so called pundits pre match (Owen Hargreaves excepted), ie United would win at a canter etc. Felt they were disrespectful to the Danes, just like the majority are towards us. Teams don't get to this stage of a European competition without being a very good side. There's certainly a few in the team that Mr Rigg should have taken note of but I'm not holding my breath.
