One of the greatest days of my life watching Burnley.

I’m convinced that result on the first day gave us the belief that took us to 7th.

The champions Chelsea were shell shocked. Defour, Vokes and award were unreal.

Great weather. Great weekend in London. Happy days.

Yep - real belief after that result and it lasted through the season.

It's easy to forget that this was a Chelsea side in their pomp who had romped to the title a few months earlier.

What a performance by Defour.

I remember the stunned look on people's faces on the Concourse at HT. It was hard to believe what we'd just seen!

PS - Although that stunned look could have been related to the price of a pint and pie! :D :D

That Ward goal is also criminally underrated.

I was in a Garden Centre and the half time score reverberated around the place with me then bricking it for the next 45 minutes

We were away in Chester for the the weekend celebrating our wedding anniversary.

We were wandering around Cheshire Oaks and I’d said I wouldn’t keep checking my phone for updates which was difficult as phone kept going off in my pocket with Twitter notifications & texts from friends

I was in a bar in Cala Bosch, Menorca. Quite a few Clarets were in there and the neutrals couldn’t believe we weren’t dancing on the ceiling at half time as we had the game ‘sewn up’.

Brilliant day.

I watched it live on whatever US tv channel it was on and for the first time realized what a player Defour could be. He was a metronome that we played along to..Like Barcelona’s tiki taca but with an incisive pass into danger areas that would **** the crap out of defenders.

I watched it at a friends home with a few mates on a live stream. We all sat there at halftime in shocked and completely drained silence

I was there. I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing in those first 45 minutes. The journey back, getting on the tube with all the Chelsea fans, what a day.

Oddly enough, I was at Towneley Garden Centre at half time too and some fella was saying we were 0-3 up and had a 'stunned' look on his face...
Could that fella have been you??

We were on holiday in Florida and due to go to one of the watermarks for the day. I started to watch it and managed to see Sam Vokes give us the lead. Off we went and as we arrived at said park arounfld HT. My eldest lad checked his phone when on WiFi and told me that there'd been 2 further goals so I replied 2-1 down at Chelsea isn't too bad I suppose. I think I taught the yanks around us a few new swear words when he told me it was 3 to us!! We then stayed around my phone until the end of the game before going and getting changed...

It was me except I wasn't in Townley GC but in one in Cheshire near home doing a Corporal Jones for the next 45 minutes "We are 3-0 up ,3-0 up don't panic don't panic" but then I did panic as it went 1-3 then 2-3. What a performance that was

Really lucky to hold on for the win in the end but what a result.

I was at my sons birthday party at a local church hall trying to keep up with the score while organising things. I remember some of the dads taking great delight in shouting ‘Chelsea have scored’ during that tense final few minutes when it was 3-2. Seemed to take an age for the final score to come through.

Travelled up from south west London, nearest game for me that season. Ticket front row lower terrace, right in the corner, about knee high to the stewards and the players and sun shining brightly into my face. All the goals scored at the other end.

Enjoyed the walk back to the tube through Brompton Cemetery. Happy days.

My wife's friends wedding, I was there under duress as normal. I got daggers from the wife all afternoon.
We're winning.
We're 2 up.
3 bloody nil.......

I got it in the neck big time for sneaking out from the night do, to try and catch MOTD. Then MOTD was 30 minutes later than advertised because the bloody athletics overran.

Some women just don't understand.

The patronising Chelsea fans were pleasantly quiet in the White Horse after the game.

I was getting loads of messages at half time saying "Burnley are top of the league". Sadly we didn't quite hold on for that in the second half.

Didn’t go unfortunately but I can’t remember ever being as surprised by a Burnley score line as I was in that first half.

The journey out of Chelsea and onto the M4 to Devon was particularly sweet that day

I remember getting updates as I made my way to the Olympic stadium to watch the World Athletic Championships and thinking that I had made the wrong choice of what to watch!

Don't remember much of that day. Started on the drinkies around noon. 1-0, 2-0, 3-0. I sent my Chelsea supporting mate a photo of me grinning like a Cheshire Cat in my Clarets shirt apparently. Still got it somewhere. Was pleasantly paralytic by early evening.
That goal from Ward was a peach! The build up play was exquisite.
