Whoops typo there Tony I think. Cork on loan from Crewe? Chelsea.
Great additions to the MB though.
Are you going to go back from 1946 when you have finished this century? Just results and Tables would be a good reference

Why on earth did I write Crewe? I’ll see what I can do with the pre war stuff.

That would really put the icing on a fantastic cake, Tony.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 1:50 pmWhy on earth did I write Crewe? I’ll see what I can do with the pre war stuff.
Such an easy way to go back and check out when you saw the games you remember.
I had a vague recollection of what was my first game, either Arsenal at home or Spurs when Chew got both goals. The Arsenal game I recall losing it 1-0 to a last minute goal which went in off the bar. Lo and behold that was August 19th 1950. I know one could get that info elsewhere but this is so easy.
And 6 days from now-70 years a Claret. That Spurs game was February 24th 1951. I notice it took Dad 7 months to pluck up courage to take me again.

It will be my 60th anniversary in two months time. Only missed eight home games since.mdd2 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 3:02 pmThat would really put the icing on a fantastic cake, Tony.

Crikey Tony, it won't be white smoke but claret and blue smoke when you go!!!!! Not for a long time yet I hopeClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 3:09 pmIt will be my 60th anniversary in two months time. Only missed eight home games since.
I have missed many more than that. My first season ticket was in 61-62 season my second in 87-88 season so two trips to Wembley but had a ST ever since. One hell of a journey for both of us I suppose.

My first season ticket was the same 1961/62 season and I've had one every season since. So the one I'm currently paying for is my 60th and my brother, who sits next to me, is on his 55th. Amazing journey, none more so than the last six years, the best since those heady days when I first walked into the Turf.mdd2 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 4:17 pmCrikey Tony, it won't be white smoke but claret and blue smoke when you go!!!!! Hi Tony. In the 08/09 season you’ve got us down as finally beating Arsenal, but it’s a 0-1 away in the championship so I’m guessing it’s a different team. Had a think but can’t remember who it should be.

Not sure how that got there but it's not an incorrect team, it just shouldn't be there at all. I've removed it now, thanks for letting me know.hoskinsgoalatswansea wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 10:51 pmHi Tony.
