Neil Oliver
Neil Oliver the Scottish television presenter, freelance archaeologist, conservationist, and author.
He'll , probably be on Talkradio tomorrow around 11am, that's his usual slot.
He's a brilliant open minded thinker and what he has to say on all sorts of subjects really is a highly recommended listen.
Talkradio is the fastest growing conversation radio station in the world apparently. It's not by chance. It may not be to everyone's taste but by all means, give it a try.

Re: Neil Oliver
talkRADIO is the best channel of its type on YouTube. I regularly tune in, especially if Peter Hitchens is being interviewed. I was always an admirer of his late brother, sadly missed.

Re: Neil Oliver
I've been tuning in to TalkRadio quite a bit lately, it's not quite as brave as SkyAustralia for exposing the hypocrisy of current wokeness but it does have some very open discussions which MSM are too chicken to broach.

Re: Neil Oliver
So would I be correct in thinking this is another right wing propaganda outlet?
I’m judging off Ringo being the OP and TheFamilyCat’s mention of newspaper circulation.

Would anyone like to guess who owns this "non mainstream media" outlet?

I have a vintage wireless with valves that only picks up stations on Longwave I guess I will not be hearing the thoughts of the free thinking Neil Oliver at 11 am tomorrow.

Re: Neil Oliver
I’d never heard of Neil Oliver, so I googled him.
Turns out he’s a big fan of the racist holocaust denier, David Starkey.

I’ve always found his warm presenting style and enthusiasm quite appealing. It’s such a shame that he’s turning into such a trite reactionary.Greenmile wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 11:51 amI’d never heard of Neil Oliver, so I googled him.

Re: Neil Oliver
I watched one of his documentaries a few years back, it was about historians being mistaken about where the battle of Bannockburn was fought. Sat through an hour of Oliver narrating an extensive dig in a new location, they found **** all.
quite how that programme was commissioned is beyond me.

Translates as "said what I wanted to hear". And Ringo accuses others of being in echo chambers.

Re: Neil Oliver
Mondays are always brightened up with a slice of Mr Hitchens. James "dweller of the metropolitan London borough of Ivory Towers " Obrian, would never have columnists from the mail as regular guests. Mike Graham has the political guy from The Independent everyweek . Dan Wooton has the Editor from Labour every week. List. His programme is backed by fact checkers.
Is it any wonder its listenership is growing exponentially!?
Talkradio - the home of common sense.

Peter Hitchens called face masks muzzles. Do you think face masks are muzzles, Ringo?

I watched the run up to the 2019 general election. I clearly remember claims that the Labour Party had credibility. I sat through weeks of the Mainstream Media's, particularly the BBC and Channel 4 , extensive analysis.Wile E Coyote wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 2:37 pmI watched one of his documentaries a few years back, it was about historians being mistaken about where the battle of Bannockburn was fought. I agree. What we need is something non-mainstream, like a media outlet owned by Rupert Murdoch, to tell us what's what.RingoMcCartney wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 11:50 pmI watched the run up to the 2019 general election. Re: Neil Oliver
I'll tell you what's what.
Get yourself a front door so you can decide who does and who doesn't walk straight into your house, and decide they prefer it to the one they could have had in France, Italy or Greece. Or the one they left in China, Iran, Albania or Pakistan.
I know you dont believe in having the equivalent of a front door for the UK, but if you don't mind being inconsistent when it comes to your own personal circumstances, and you haven't already got yourself sorted. I can highly recommend having one fitted.
They're brilliant!
