Not really and hope I can say that for a number of years yet

Who are Rovers ???? Doncaster? Bristol? I thought they played at a lower level?FactualFrank wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 10:24 amFor anybody interested.

Just looking at them fixtures could this be one of the weakest Championships in years ? I think it is.
Barnsley,Luton, Wycombe, Coventry.
Bournemouth, Watford & Norwich don't look out of place.
A very average league this season and a good chance for anyone to go up.

I was hoping Tindall would get off to a bad start but I think I've changed my mind. Up the Cherries.

Re: Championship Fixtures 2020-21
So Wycombe get into the Championship for the first time and get an opener against Rotherham. It's a bit like our first season in the Premier League when we were all hoping for a big club to start and we got Stoke who we'd played only two seasons earlier.

I enjoy the Championship - I think it's an excellent competition. For once though, I agree with the poster above, it can not be described as getting harder every year. I think it is noticeably weaker this coming season.
My outside bet for a side to do well though is Coventry City.

Re: Championship Fixtures 2020-21
Every season without fail you get people saying the Championship is stronger or weaker.. most of the time, stronger.
Remember, there was only Leeds last season who were anywhere close to consistent. Fulham and Brentford kept losing when a win would take them second, and WBA got second due to how bad the rest were.
There's still going to be Norwich, Brentford and Watford, along with possibly Bournemouth in the reckoning.

Re: Championship Fixtures 2020-21
Does that make it a stronger league then if only 1 team consistently won? Shows the league is more evenly balanced. It was in comparison to our title season.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 11:38 amEvery season without fail you get people saying the Championship is stronger or weaker.. most of the time, stronger.

Ct is NOT a prick - well, only when he needs to be, I suppose. Oh yeah, and possibly other times as well
(always been a decent bloke whenever I have spoken to him or seen him at games)

Bit harsh. He’s just argumentative, self righteous and opinionated.
