Surely it cannot get any worse, or can it ?
Saturday night tele. Freddie and Paddy talking over old episodes of total wipeout, inane drivel mind numbingly dull jokey chat, forced laughter oh dear oh dear oh dear. Just show grass growing.

Channel 4 7pm "Knight and Day" followed by "Taken 3" @ 9pm or BBC2 9pm "Entrapment"...... b**lox to Paddy McGutless and Freddie Flatulence

I hasten to add my daughter and granddaughter were watching it, I played the role of dutiful grandad for 10 minutes then buggered off.

Thank goodness for Sky Plus. I'm watching (for the second time) David Gilmour Live in Gdansk. A gig from 2006 recently shown on Sky Arts, brilliant!.

The Bridge. Scandinavian detective thriller. BBC4 9pm. 4 episodes last Saturday and 4 tonight, final 2 next week. An oldie but goldie now but if it’s your genre try bbc iplayer catch up.

Have just watched "Rolling in it" with Stephen Mulhern (recorded it from earlier) hmmmmmmm and if anyone thought (& I know I did) the wall with Danny Dyer was sh*te ... ITV have come up with a format to beat it in the sh*teness factor

A travesty of a show, just wish i could repeat my licence fee the way the beeb shows repeats and rehashes of past shows.

Watched it 1st time out but it was good, so recording it again.....well worth a watch.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 10:38 pmThe Bridge. Scandinavian detective thriller. Agree. Some good shows come out of Scandinavia. Seen it but worth a watch. I think we're Netflixed out now. Not been anything really on terrestrial TV for months now so been on iPlayer and Netflix.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 10:38 pmThe Bridge. Scandinavian detective thriller. Don't know if it's still on demand but 'Twin' is another one worth a watch. 'Below the Surface' is a Danish show about counter terrorism worth a watch.
