Champions League Final Thread
PSG v Bayern tonight has the potential to be a cracker both teams usually score alot.
The Bayern we so against Barca was frightening. Although Barca played a huge role by being awful themselves.
PSG got battered against Atalanta in the Quarters but managed to to score 2 injury time goals to go through undeservedly.
Both teams won the semi finals 3-0. Bayern beat Lyon and PSG beating Leipzig.
I'm hoping for a Bayern win because PSG as like Man City are everything that is wrong with football and the longer they go on without winning it the better.
Looking forward to this one could be a classic..... Come on Ze Germans.

I'm rooting for Bayern and Muller in particular mainly for the reason you are and also because my Coral's account is looking a bit on the anorexic side.

That just about sums it up for me, as well
Plus Bayern have Alphonso Davies, a Canadian lad

Bayern for me also, PSG are another plastic club, and Neymar's a knob. Cheats shouldn't be rewarded.
Plus Alphonso Davies has such a rags to riches story, and he's proof that dreams can come true if you work hard enough https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51644189

Who isn’t? Especially in Germany.
Bayer.
Wolfsburg.
Stuttgart.
All spring to mind immediately as Leipzig style clubs.
Bayern themselves are almost a third owned by Audi, Adidas and Allianz. Adidas alone put 900m into them!
All clubs Especially at this level are backed by big money. I don’t know why people get so worked up about it.
PSG are a big club in one of the worlds greatest cities. Why wouldn’t they be well backed?

Just want an entertaining game with the best players on show.
Don't Bayern just hoover up all the talent in Germany to continue their dominance?
Not much difference in all them big clubs.
Not many produce all their own talent these days.

Leipzig was founded in 2009 just ELEVEN years ago. They have basically unlimited funds from Red Bull and easily worked there way up the German leagues and now play in the Champions League. How is that fair on the other teams trying to do things the right way ? PLASTIC

Some of the passing around the area by both defenses, borders on suicidal.

PSG playing themselves into trouble at the back when pressed but look very dangerous when they go more direct. I fancy Lewandowski to snatch a goal out of nothing.

Not a bad half. It ‘s grand to see top players putting a proper shift in defensively and then have that extra skill on the break. Spoiled by the petty fouls on the halfway line just to disrupt the break.
Maybe it’s time for a basketball style rule whereby after a designated number of fouls you get a penalty?

Re: Champions League Final Thread
To say the PSG front 3 were a combined 350m, I'd have expected st least one of the 3 or 4 half chances to have gone in.
I think those misses might cost them.
Bayern were massive favourites to win in 90 mins, but I'd say PSG have been the better side and had the better chances.
I'll give it 15 minutes to liven up, and if not I'll be going to bed, it's been a long, busy and tiring weekend.

Re: Champions League Final Thread
About time some of these fancy dan continentals learned the basics from proper sides like Burnley. Lesson 1: When you get a corner first thing to do is plonk your slowest player right in front of their keeper. They're just so far behind us these days.

It's not been bad, but it lacking goals, and with the quality of strikers on the park that's a surprise, you'd have expected 1 or 2 of those chances to be buried by either side, hopefully it'll be different 2nd half and we'll see a few goals.

Is it Neymar I thought it was Tom Daley with that dive, appalling play acting again.
Bayern ahead maybe now PSG will concentrate more on the football than the theatrics.
