Won't happen. And West Ham, Scunthorpe and Weymouth have no chance either.
He's a proper Claret.

Is he not facing a ban for some bets linked to his transfer?

Dream back 4....
Re: Villa looking to bring Tripps back to the Premier League
If Villa gets Tripps, Dyche is going to Villa. Trips has said in the past he wants to return to Burnley or a team under his good friend Dyche.

That seems to be a massive assumption on your behalf that a gentleman’s agreement didn’t exist, personally I’d find that unlikely myself but something along the lines of if I do return to England would you be willing to move to that same club if it was possible isn’t beyond anything that could be believable, it’s not unheard of put it that way.

I’m not a person who believes in players returning to a Club unless the are hungry to. Jay Rod has emotional links and is doing fine. Trippier is one of the few I’d like to see back.
I’m not a football expert but to me he looks like he should be further up, in midfield, with a strong defender like Bardsley behind. (Told you my football knowledge is limited).
McNeill on one side, Trippier on the other. Our strikers would get more opportunities.

Re: Villa looking to bring Tripps back to the Premier League
I doubt there is anything in this at all, but I understand if Tripps comes back to the UK he wants to be in the North and with his family.
When Mears left I genuinely believed I would never see a better Burnley RB - I was wrong on that one too.

No commute? I thought Dyche’s family was based in Northampton? A shorter commute.
I’m not saying that Dyche wouldn’t ever move to Villa. I’m saying he wouldn’t move to Villa just because they signed Trippier.

Which manager has changed clubs because a club has signed a particular player?Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 10:16 pmThat seems to be a massive assumption on your behalf that a gentleman’s agreement didn’t exist, personally I’d find that unlikely myself but something along the lines of if I do return to England would you be willing to move to that same club if it was possible isn’t beyond anything that could be believable, it’s not unheard of put it that way.

I'd struggle to think of 1 in the immediate time coinciding I could perhaps think of a few a month or slightly longer transferring that way, but even then you could question whether the reasons for the switch was down to the ex player moving. It's definitely a factor in the decision making process & smooths the transition when the manager knows the personnel he will be inheriting.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 10:45 pmWhich manager has changed clubs because a club has signed a particular player?

One of the reasons he creates so many chances is the winger allows him to overlap on the move to put the ball in. Playing as the winger wouldn’t allow him to play the same way. He’s a fantastic full back and is at his best there.
I do think he did play on the wing whilst on loan at Barnsley the season before we loaned him with limited success

Didn't for Pep when he took over City and had Yaya there, a player he'd already had a falling out withJakubclaret wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 11:01 pmI'd struggle to think of 1 in the immediate time coinciding I could perhaps think of a few a month or slightly longer transferring that way, but even then you could question whether the reasons for the switch was down to the ex player moving. I'm not aware of any manager switching clubs because of a player, especially as a player has a shorter career than most managers.
Re: Villa looking to bring Tripps back to the Premier League
Steve Davis and Robbie Blake made welcome returns and so would Tripps, but I can't see him leaving Athletico Madrid before he is OOC to return to us as we couldn't afford his salary nor the transfer fee he would command whilst under contract. He has only been at the club 12 months and they shelled out £20million for him plus add ons and he still has two years of his contract to go. Villa could afford him but I doubt we could unless Gibson goes in the opposite direction.LoveCurryPies wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 10:23 pmI’m not a person who believes in players returning to a Club unless the are hungry to. Dyche says to Villa "I'm your man if you line up certain players, KT is one of my wants"
Villa "OK, Sean, we'll get him"

It's reputed Arsenal signed Bergkamp on the advice of a certain Mr Wenger.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Sun Aug 23, 2020 11:12 pmThis could be turned around a bit.

Re: Villa looking to bring Tripps back to the Premier League
Bergkamp signed a year before Wenger arrived (summer 1995). Wenger managed in Japan until late September 1996. However, there may well have been a link between Arsenal signing Vieria and Garde and Wenger's arrival.

we might be loyal, but the players and managers are commodities. dont' get fixated by allegiance, they don't have it like we do.
