Re: Pre season friendlies
Doesn’t appear that we are going to publicise them
Re: Pre season friendlies
We didn’t arrange any, we were expecting most of our squad to be away on international duty

Re: Pre season friendlies
Tranmere is one of them because Michael Jackson said so. That was Bad and Dangerous of him of course but it won't be a Thriller.

I hate Michael Jackson music, so I don't know if that's an instruction , or song title

I don’t hate his songs, but I suspect You are Not Alone with that opinion.
Re: Pre season friendlies
Will we be playing in black or white or do we still not know the colour of our away kit yet?

Not sure, the official Twitter has said it’ll be revealed soon but for now, it remains In the Closet.

Very possibly CTID....the one thing that’s certain though is that Dyche will definitely not be singing, ‘Gibson, I Want You Back!’

Does anyone 'Remember The Time' when supporters were allowed to attend games?

Re: Pre season friendlies
Whenever it is we play Tranmere, I believe it is one of the double up games that Sean Dyche enjoys. We did two last year, one at Gawthorpe and in the last three years we've done them publicly. They were when I went to Kidderminster, Macclesfield and Crewe.

I'll be there...
Re: Pre season friendlies
Tony, what's the issue with the club announcing that we have a friendly. A friend of mine who supports Tranmere knows all about the game but our club seem reluctant for some reason to advertise the fact we are playing?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 11:02 amWhenever it is we play Tranmere, I believe it is one of the double up games that Sean Dyche enjoys. Re: Pre season friendlies
Sadly, yes it does.
Re: Pre season friendlies
Obviously we only know regards our club, but i cant imagine other clubs being so secretive and reluctant to share such basic news.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 12:02 pmI thought they were today but I wasn't certain. I did know who they were against but I got the info from Shrewsbury and Tranmere, not Burnley.
Sometimes we find out about other teams young players arriving or ours going out on loan through other clubs announcing it before us.
We seem quite good media wise with the comms cams and other bits done for social media, however some basic info that would be nice to know seems top secret.
