Re: Dyche interview
Cheers Vegas, good to see SD is up for the new season, some thought he might not be here.

This guy is awesome. A legend.
For all you "Dyche Out" cronies, glad you're enjoying your enforced break

Re: Dyche interview
I thought there was every chance of him going but there have been absolutely no vacancies this summer. For the first time in years the Premier League will kick off with the same 20 managers in place at the clubs as at the end of last season. I think the shorter close season has had an effect on managerial changes giving clubs a shorter time to make changes.
Re: Dyche interview
Agreed CT.
Will be interesting to see what happens at Newcastle and Villa, as they are potentially where vacancies may appear mid season.
In terms of next Summer, I'll be very surprised if Palace are not recruiting a new manager.

Re: Dyche interview
I think Dyche could be a shoe in for the England job when Southgate eventually gets potted.
Re: Dyche interview
He is actually 4/1 fav with Paddy Power
The next Burnley manager, at 6/4 , is Eddie Howe

Re: Dyche interview
The key bit from that interview was where he referenced the 'issues' last season, but then said "we've parked that".
Hopefully that will be the end of it and both SD and MG can get back on better terms.

To be honest, I'd rather live in Bournemouth than the Burnley area.ElectroClaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 27, 2020 2:04 pmWild horses wouldn't drag his wife up here again, if what we heard at the time was true.

Re: Dyche interview
He seems a bit more upbeat. Let's see if he still is in five or six weeks time.

That’d give me even more reason not to give a toss about the national team, then.CardiffClaret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 7:42 amI have a feeling Boothroyd will be the next England manager, to maintain the “England DNA”.
