Re: Melania Trump....
She read a pre prepared and pre practiced speech.
She’s married to Donald trump... she’s smart in that she never has to work a day of her life, but she’s still married to Donald trump.
He’s paying for it, she’s paying for it. They don’t spoil another pair that’s for sure.

Personally I think she is a classy, elegant First Lady and Donald is very lucky to be married to her.

She did have money of her own prior to meeting Trumpy. Of course nothing like his wealth. Not all women with older men are seduced by the money. Like him or not, he is an interesting character and maybe his patriotism and republican beliefs appealed to her?

Re: Melania Trump....
The current Mrs Trump is the third to " hold office " . Whilst the second Mrs Trump was born in the state of Georgia, Ivanka and Melania were born in the Czech Republic and Slovenia respectively .... a case, perhaps, of immigrants doing the " jobs that Americans won't do " !!

Re: Melania Trump....
I only saw a brief clip on the evening news, but that speech sounded dignified and what America needs right now is unity. Sadly I doubt that will happen during the heat of an election campaign, and the situation in Wisconsin is deteriorating by the day.
The cynic in me would suggest that Melania has been pushed into the spotlight to try and regain some of the female voters that Donald needs to win again in November, the danger for the Republicans is that if she's promoted into the spotlight, then her previous actions and comments will be brought up, but then that no doubt equally applies to the Democrats, ultimately the American people will deliver their verdict later in the year.
America is probably the most polarised nation on the planet ATM, and whoever gets the keys to the WH, plus the Congress and the Senate faces an unenviable task of somehow bringing the nation together, not an easy task with both sides growing further apart by the hour, and also still in the midst of the covid pandemic.

She’s gotta to be some kind of cyborg. She never comes across as though she’s fully human.
