Can't believe this is being played at a tinpot outground. It's live on Sky FFS.

To be fair, I can understand why Lancashire have picked Headingley as the ground for their T20's whilst they are using Old Trafford to save the cricketing world...... It's probably because they're so used to winning there.

Yorkshire going well again 190 all out at TB, runs for Lyth and Root once more, how on earth has Root not been included in the England T20 squad for the Australia series, he's the man in form, mind you the fact that the likes of him can be omitted, shows how much strength in depth English white ball possesses these days, it's a heck of a sea change from the dark days of the late 1990's and early 2000's when England struggled to even win a game at the various WC'S.

Ha - another Kolpak getting smashed all over the place. Who is Pillans? Is he a saffer, is he another cockney? Brought in from Surrey? Malan, Pillans, Bess - why not just relocate the ground lads, it might be easier.
Josh Poysden - another one - from Hampshire, signed from Warwick, another Southerner.
Is there anybody from Yorkshire playing cricket for Yorkshire any more? What is going on. Never ever do I want to hear the glory hunters chirping on about Lancashire signing players... Yorkshire once again, do as I say, not as I do.

Not only do we have to play on a tinpot ground - it has already staged a game today.
Are we on the same wicket or do they have more than one?

Bosscat has gone very quiet this afternoon hasn’t he....... I can confirm though, after the Kolpak Republican Cockney Glory Hunters failure to defend 190...... its chips all round for tea.

Re: T20 Derbyshire v Lancashire - Monday 6.35pm
Player welfare is paramount Ty, good to see our county acting in a proper manner.
Meanwhile at Tinpot Headingley, it's the same pitch that was used earlier today. Lancashire have won the toss and elected to bat first.

Re: T20 Derbyshire v Lancashire - Monday 6.35pm
We'll need to get a shift on to make 200. 170 could be a winning score on this pitch though. A few more maximums will help.

Slowed down a lot in the last 3-4 overs, could do with a big finish. Vilas gone now 153/3 15 balls left.

Thoughts.....
Might be 10 short
Derbyshire's fielding was excellent throughout - good intensity and plenty of runs saved.

Re: T20 Derbyshire v Lancashire - Monday 6.35pm
Middling score we'll need to bowl well to defend it, went somewhat awry in the last 5 overs, hopefully they'll bat like they did against the Yorkies.
