Transferred some old video tapes from 30 years ago last year to DVD type, been slowly watching one a week on Sundays, seeing the children as babies and most importantly seeing my parents and the in-laws when we were doing special things, such as Christmas day, is priceless, something for the older ones here that our parents couldn't do.

Nostalgia seen through the modern day is wonderful, thank you for reminding me Vince.

I'm probably in the minority... but I've enjoyed the lockdown.

Can't disagree. Not enjoyed the Covid part obviously but not feeling obliged to meet up and socialise has been great for us. Family visited for the first time in a year at the weekend and I'd be quite happy if I don't see them for another year
Plus. With lockdown there's been a marked increase in wildlife. I saw my first hedgehog since I was a kid (must be 35 years at least) wandering up the street last night on our dog walk. My wife says she's seen three in recent weeks. Can only be a good thing.

I think hes got it spot on tbf. While out and about in Leeds and Later Blackpool.wetherspoons had it spot on with service etc. They like mcDonalds come in for lots of criticism. But I've yet to see one employing miserable staff and having Dirty toilets.

Same here, saw my first (live) hedgehog last week. Only seen them splattered by the roadside before now. As you say, wildlife generally is definitely more abundant this year, those 2 or 3 months with so little traffic must have been fantastic for nature.

Unfortunately, it's not exactly a modern day trend, it'll be back to normal this time next year.

I like that Wetherspoons app...

Though there’s no charm to Wetherspoons pubs. I can’t imagine one being my local
