anybody ever had money taken twice and had 1 of the payments showing as pending on their statement?

Mines taken 2 x £1000 transactions instead of 1
Yorkshire bank
Revolut card top up

Still hasnt shown back in my bank from friday

Yeah, I have. 1 transaction showed as pending for 4 or 5 days on my Internet banking, then just disappeared. It wasn't Yorkshire bank though.

Something similar happened on my account when I looked last night. Seems to have corrected itself now though. Maybe something to do with the bank holiday.

It has happened to me recently with an internet purchase. I rang the Company I was buying from and they said “the first ‘pending payment’ is just to prove the bank account is genuine. The payment will only be taken once.
They were correct, it was and all was well.

As Eloise says ... I had a similar experience with a purchase, all was well but mine was only for £10 not a £1k

Strange as its not rectified even on a day thats not a bank hol - today

I top up the revolut card to use abroad as you can exchange at a good rate on the app

If not sorted by tomorrow ill give the bank another ring
