Dyche should have told the truth and hung him out to dry, I would have had more respect for him.

he's not been too bad, but relegated twice and loaned out to lower league clubs twice now.

You don't know what's wrong with his toe. I've had some very sore ones in my time.
OK, maybe he's leaving, but until it happens it's nothing more than pointless speculation.
Re: Tark - transfer
He's leaving for sure. Sean is just giving an excuse we can back down from should he not sell.

If I'm wrong i will gladly hold up my hand, issue is this lad has form with this sort of thing.
Re: Tark - transfer
How do you know the club hasn't made a decision he won't play given there are active transfer discussions?

I will. Feel free to remind me. The fact is (as already pointed out), is that Tarky has form for this sort of thing. And the embarrassing “toe injury” story just doesn’t add up.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 8:19 pmWill you apologise to him if he plays next week? Thought not.

I'd love to know where you get your info from, I really would. Or is it like a few others on here, total guesswork?
What's the odds? If he stays he'll be one of your heroes again.

He was spotted in Leicester yesterday apparently.
Don't know if he was favouring his toe or not.

It was in response to anyone with a clear and certain view it's Tarkowski refusing to play.box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 8:30 pmFine. But don’t come up with crap lies about toe injuries.
Protecting the asset during active transfer discussions and saying the player has a knock is commonplace.

Yes, I’m guessing he isn’t injured. But the ‘form’ bit is factual.

Of course I remember what happened at Brentford but you are now suggesting he's doing it again for which you haven't got a scrap of evidence.box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 8:33 pmThe fact that he refused to play for Brentford? Or don’t you remember that?

You clearly suggested he was doing it again, for which you have no evidence at all.

The fact that his toe issue has lasted significantly longer than 99.9% of toe issues for anyone else

You’re funny, I like you. But you’re also very wrong. His toe is fine, he’s leaving us. I don’t blame him, it’s all smoke and mirrors though, and it doesn’t need to be.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 8:41 pmAnd that means he's on strike for a transfer? Glad you're not a defence lawyer.

Of course I have no evidence you pedantic old man. I merely and factually said he has form for this. Whether he is doing it again, whether the club are protecting him, or whether he’s actually injured, the last fact is still true.
Don’t bother replying. I won’t be arsed to respond.

He may well be leaving, I just don't know. My point is the fact that no one else on this board knows either. They are guessing and vilifying one of our best players without any evidence at all that they are right.

You can't wriggle out that easy. You clearly suggested he was on strike AGAIN, yet you haven't an ounce of evidence.box_of_frogs wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 8:45 pm

What ?Gordaleman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 8:41 pmAnd that means he's on strike for a transfer? Glad you're not a defence lawyer.
There’s more than a hint of suspicion here and nobody knows either way.
What I do know is he played against Martimo in the friendly and we have not seen him since.
Unless he broke his big toe - which would have been reported I’m guessing and meant around 6 weeks out I’m not convinced that this is a genuine injury that would have kept him out for this length of time.
No I don’t have any evidence of this and I’m guessing you have no evidence either that he is injured. It’s certainly not the wildest of speculations to suggest all is not as it seems.
Wasn’t Stephens supposed to be injured for Brighton last week and he’s fit and playing this week ? It happens regularly.

I’m not vilifying him, I just wish it wasn’t smoke and mirrors. I understand why, but it doesn’t need to be like that. It is possible to be honest and just say he’s not in the right frame of mind because of the speculation, or we don’t want to play him and risk losing £40M+. Like I said I understand why, just wish it wasn’t the case.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Sat Sep 26, 2020 8:46 pmHe may well be leaving, I just don't know. Re: Tark - transfer
No point in this getting personal , we all have differing views....but to deny he hasn't got form would be a tad to trusting. The lad deserves to be playing top six, but I'd like him to show some respect to those who put him there and those that applauded him off week in week out.
