Good to see Tarks back, this might quieten all the transfer speculation down. Makes sense to pair him and Long together, as they'll likely be our 1st choice duo for the 1st few PL games at least.

Nothing much being said about the injured players. I wonder if any of Mee, Cork & Barnes are back in training yet.

To be fair, they’re just having a training session against another team. I don’t know why they would need to tell fans.

When I last saw Cork a few weeks back perhaps, he had a protective boot on his foot.

As for Barnes, yes he's back training doing some work on his own, and joining in parts.

Not seen Mee at all on the grass or otherwise.

Im interested in the goings on at the club; I had assumed we all were, though I may have been wrong. Not publicising first team friendlies seems odd to me, but clearly not to you.

I think Barnes' problem is a worry unless he has picked up an injury in training. It shouldn't take that long to get over hernia surgery unless it did not go according to plan. It is over 8 months since his op I think. Folk were better long before now even with chloroform and a blunt knife

They told you there was a game and are providing updates.
Given you can’t attend what difference would it have made if they’d have told you a day, week or month before?

Dyche has already said there were other issues. He’d have been back for the restart otherwise.
