Quicken, I'd love nothing more than to meet the elusive invisible man of mystery and bullshit. Unfortunately, I am not at the game today due to prior commitments, though I'm sure any regular cricket watcher from Lowerhouse or Burnley that does happen across him could pass on my regards!

A typical miniscule crowd at Burnley CC. Maybe thats why they felt the need to charge. First time this season ive paid to enter anywhere. Missing the car park receipts i presume :-)

Something wrong if you didn't when you have your pro and ex pro playing whilst we are without ours and Frankie. Was much closer than it should have been today. I'm surprised we have done as well as we have this short season...although helped by playing in a group with no pros.
As for T20..we just don't do T20.

It’s Burnley’s strength with the ball that’s been their major success, again they have 3 really good spinners and Tom Lawson has looked brilliant when I’ve watched him this year. If they score over 100, you always think they’ve a chance of defending it.

Still waiting for ANYONE who can vouch for your attendance at ANY Burnley Cricket Club match let alone today! Incidentally, you claim you haven't seen me, how do you know that, you now claiming I know you? You really are a complete oddball.

Like i said earlier you must be struggling with the lack of car park receipts to be charging for what amounts to be a friendly? The first time I have been charged to get on any game this season anywhere...and it is at Burnley. Typical.

All came through from the junior ranks at the House. Not really the same thing as having your pro play the following year as an amateur and get another top class pro.
Well done to Burnley CC on buying a few more titles this season. Guess House fans will have to make do with :o winning what was historically the most important fixture between the two clubs The Worsley Cup Final. Happy days hopefully we may see there like again.

In my opinion, **** poor by Burnley charging full LL prices for a friendly.

Too many clubs put the cart before the horse. Get folk in through the gate and generally they will spend. A lot of them will also come back.

Must admit it almost caught me out, I only just had enough change, rarely carry any cash these days.

They weren’t just charging away fans though as stated by some

The receipts from the home fans would not have filled one of Burnley's brown envelopes.

I know a lot did, I was surprised clubs werent charging this year to be honest, I’m happy to pay and help out but I wouldnt have had Burnley near the top of the list of clubs that need the extra money so was surprised.

Excited over winning 3 friendlies whilst ripping people off for the privilege. Yep that is the classiness we come to expect from the few (and it is a few going off today :D ) that attend your games.

You’ll have to wait 12 months for that but knock yourself out. Get there early though as there are usually 100 or so that do.

Perhaps they can take solace from being the first club to step forward in Colne’s hour of need and agreeing to waive shares of gate receipts etc.
