Anyone else enjoying the second season of The Boys on Amazon Prime?

Got to say it's picked up from where season one left off and really ramped it up. The chap who plays Homelander has it down to a T for me, particularly his portrayal of the supe becoming more and more unhinged.

Wellsy - It's great to watch as a polar opposite to Avengers / Justice League. The humour they put into it is really dark, too.

Just started watching Series 1 after reading this thread. Not a massive fan of Superhero things but 5 episodes in and this is different and very enjoyable.

I recommend the graphic novels for anyone who’s enjoying this series. Quite a few major plot differences, but the TV show captures the feel of the books very well (apart from Butcher’s awful cockney accent, and Hughie should be Scottish).

They’re written by Garth Ennis, so not for the faint hearted or easily offended.

Not really.

Think how would superman act if he thought he could do whatever he wanted without recourse. What about if Wonderwoman was burnt out, disillusioned with the hero game. What about if The Flash was a junkie?
