When you can play a bit, you can pop into an upmarket guitar shop, pick up a vintage Gretsch and have a bit of fun knocking out a tune on an unfamiliar guitar.

Some superb guitarists mention here.

Re: Your top six favourite guitar players
For stage presence i enjoyed seeing : Angus Young , Rossington , Wilko , The boss , Kieth Richards and Gary Moore . One person missing on everyone's list ( i think) , was Dick Dale playing Misirlou .
Re: Your top six favourite guitar players
Agreed, Wilko Johnson was always a good turn. I saw him once in a small venue where he was so well gone that he could barely stand, but they put a guitar in his hands and pushed him on stage and he was superb. Like Lazarus, he seems to have returned from the dead of late.

Can Springsteen actually play? He always has his Tele round his neck but he hardly appears to touch it. I always thought he had other people to do that kind of thing.
