Good enough.... Not good enough

Post by Pommieclaret » Tue Sep 08, 2020 7:29 pm

Nick Pope included in the premier league team of the year and the idiot that picks the England team deems Pickford as England's best keeper. Southgate has lost the plot

Named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year. That’s what Premier League players think of him.

Makes Pickford being chosen all the more laughable to me...

Southgate is developing a "I know better than every one else attitude".......useless.

Pickford wouldn’t have made the top 10.

Just had a peek at Grandoldteam one of Everton's main forums and the everton fans are more amazed than us
Pickford has got the nod, no confidence in the lad at all!

Fantastic. It's great that he has got recognition for a great season.
But we all know it's also a very well done to the whole defence.
I loved going to matches and we would reach 70 min 0-0 and I'd think great we are going to win.

His attitude to selection is similar to a kid sticking his hand in the sweet-jar :D

I like Tarks, but soyuncu was picked by by the players who he played against. They must have been impressed by him!

The problem is Pickford is yet to do a lot wrong playing for England. There are those players that play better for their country than their club.

Tarks upsets lots of opponents because he likes taking the p**s ---they don't like him doing that but it's all part of the game!

Forgot to say well done to Nick --thoroughly deserved!

Big congrats to Nick, he deserved an accolade after narrowly missing out on the Golden Glove. A lot of his success is down to our defence, but anyone who saw his display at Anfield can see he's an excellent stopper.

Can you name a mistake he's made for England? A big one?

That's the problem for Pope
