Championship predictions
I know it's the hardest league in world football to predict, but I'll start us off with a few punts.
Champs: Norwich (of the 3 relegated teams they are the most stable, and so far they've managed to hold onto most of their stars, I can see them bouncing back.
Runners-up: Bristol City(there's usually a dark horse every season that comes from nowhere, and although they aren't exactly coming from nowhere, they'll be the surprise package in my view, they've hovered around the play-off region for several seasons now, and this year could be their time.
Play-off's
Swansea
Brentford
Cardiff (promoted)
Millwall
Rovers will just miss out, I can see them finishing 7th-10th, Bournemouth & Watford I can see struggling to adapt to the Champ, and mid-table is the best either can hope for this time.
Relegated (could be any 3 from about 10)
Luton (they were fortunate to escape last season, and I can see them being among the dead men again)
Wycombe (they'll give it a go, but the step up in class will be too much for them)
Sheff Wed (mainly due to the points deduction)

Re: Championship predictions
Relegation is the tough one. Points reductions could well kick in

Re: Championship predictions
To think that some people say the Championship is weaker this year.
Brentford, Watford, Norwich, Bournemouth, followed by several clubs who could grab a playoff spot. Just like last season.
I currently see Norwich as finishing top with Brentford second.

Re: Championship predictions
Norwich should be strong, not sure on Watford. As for Bournemouth, it is going to be a completely different squad. No Francis, no Callum Wilson, no Harry Wilson, no Ake, no Fraser, no Ramsdale and maybe no King. The good news for them is that there is no Ibe.
I'm not sure on Brentford, that might have been their one big chance.
Forest will be one to watch I think and maybe Derby will have another go but I'm not sure of them and they could still have points deducted with the league appealing the decision. Stoke might have recovered a bit now they've changed manager and Swansea could be up there.
So my recommendation is not to back any of the teams I've tipped. I usually get it horribly wrong.

Re: Championship predictions
Well! by Watford's standards he's now been a long term appointment the bizarre thing is if they had stuck with Pearson, I could have seen them doing well at this level, but they hit the panic button and dumped him.
Re: Championship predictions
Forest, Norwich, Derby, Swansea, Cardiff and Brentford in no particular order for the top six. Bottom three. Wycombe, Wednesday and Luton.

Re: Championship predictions
Think Forest will have a good season.
Backed
Norwich 11/2
Peterborough 15/2
Cheltenham 14/1
£10 E/W trixie - pays about 11.5k so cross Norwich off your list of teams winning it.
