Worrall injured
Joe Worrall has been on shin splints for several weeks and not playing for Forest
We definitely dont waste what little cash with have in signing an injured player

Re: Worrall injured
Probably more likely to sign him as he’ll be cheaper

Not like we've ever signed a player that's been injured

Who was that fairly young right back who was an Englamd regular who had shin splints many years ago. I Think he may have played for Liverpool. He never properly recovered and retired from playing at an early age.

Re: Worrall injured
The point I was making was that we don't need another crock .We can't afford to buy any injury prone players as we need a full fit squad
We already have JBG and Robbie who are unlikely to play every week and Ash Barnes with a very worrying recovery time from minor surgery.

Shin splints are not a physical splints, so you can't be 'on' them like being on crutches.
It's a relative minor injury which can occur in anyone who has well developed calf muscles and exercises frequently from joggers, ballet dancers or footballers. Could recover quickly and nothing to imply long term fitness concerns.

Re: Worrall injured
I wouldn't say England regular - he had eight caps although I'm sure he'd have won more. He had a number of injuries but it was a serious knee injury that ended his career.

All true. In my running days I could suffer for a spell after changing into new runners. Soon wore off though.CombatClaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 10:30 amPendant post sorry:

Re: Worrall injured
I always ignored people when I was young and stupid and they said my shin splints was down to footwear, I very rarely get them these days and usually change my running trainers if I feel them coming on again.
I know what you mean when you say minor injury, but it’s a nightmare trying to do any walking or running when you get them. I used to take 2-3 weeks off and could still feel them slightly
