Emma Peel in The Avengers, I could put it on the 'crush' thread and I'm sure I'd not be alone.

Just seen this, really sad news.

Loved her in The Avengers and she was the only 'Bond girl' to become Mrs Bond (though that didn't end well)

RIP beautiful lady

At roughly 10 years old I had a poster of her leather clad body on my bedroom wall. My first ever pin up. (I took it down when I saw her in Game of Thrones! )

As a child, it took a long time to console myself that Diana Rigg was no longer Emma Peel and that a new one could possibly be her because it was pretending it was her when it wasn't.

I eventually got over it... :-)

R.I.P.

Life has to live up to The Avengers thanks to her and thanks to her for it and that TV era.

The young Diana Rigg was before my time, but what an attractive natural beauty and a good actress too throughout her life.

BTW: Are the 1960s Avenger episodes repeated - maybe on some obscure TV channel?

Thanks for that. I'll lookout for the ITV 4 listings and record the series.
